1. What we collect
GoodsList V1 runs entirely in your browser. We do not operate any servers. The data you create (lists, products, votes) is stored only in your browser's localStorage.
2. Cookies
We do not use cookies. We use localStorage (a browser feature similar to cookies) only for storing your data locally. Nothing is sent to any server.
3. Outbound links & affiliate programs
When you click outbound links to retailers (Amazon, Walmart, etc.), those retailers may set their own cookies and collect data per their own privacy policies. We use affiliate tags that tell retailers "this user came from GoodsList."
4. Analytics
GoodsList V1 does not run any third-party analytics. Click tracking happens only in your browser's localStorage and is never transmitted.
5. Your data, your control
Because your data is stored only in your browser:
- Clearing browser data will erase your lists
- Different browsers / devices will not share your data
- You can export your data from the admin panel (Settings → Export)
6. Children's privacy
GoodsList is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes
If we add server-side features (Phase 2), we will update this policy and notify users. The current V1 has no servers, so this policy reflects the current state.
